It is with complete disappointment that we announce that George has sustained a severe sprain of the MCL legiment in his left knee. He tried for the better part of two weeks to train through the injury with no change in the amount of pain or the range of motion in his left knee.
George made the call monday night to give ICF time to find a replacement if they so chose for his fight against Neal Craft. He stresses his disappointment and was ready to make his professional debut a successful one. With this injury he could box with someone but as soon as leg kicks were brought into the equation who knows? He cannot perform any takedowns, nor can he do much with his ground work. So he made a well informed decision and will wait for another card to officially turn pro.
George apologizes to all his loyal fans out there that were looking forward to this fight. He vows to return better than ever and ready to take on any and all challengers!
