A 32 year old father of three girls, George hails from the small town of Edmond, West Virginia.  There were no rough neighborhoods or constant fights to survive in Edmond as you hear from many fighters today.  An athlete from birth, George excelled as a wrestler at Midland Trail High School winning nearly 90% of his highschool matches by pinfall.  He was also named "Mr. Hustle" on the school's football team because of his heart and dedication to training.

George became interested in mixed martial arts after watching an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) event on pay per view. Remembering his wrestling past, he thought that he could certainly do what those guys were doing in the cage.  After a short search, he found a training facility in the town where he worked.  Training under Bryan Atterson, David Vannest, and Jorge Gurgel, George has accomplished much in a just over 4 years of training. He was awarded his purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (after 3 years and 11 months of training). He has also won multiple grappling championships, a MMA championship and various other awards.

George is signed to a contract with Intimidation Cage Fighting where he was their first 205 pound amateur title holder after winning against "Ruthless" Ron Mitchell in November of 2008.
